Woodland Creation Open Days on Farms
Woodland Creation Open Days on Farms
Join us for three Woodland Creation Open Days on Farms!
The Woodland Creation Open Days provide a unique opportunity for farmers, landowners, and prospective land buyers to explore the practicalities of establishing woodlands on farms. These events offer a chance to see firsthand how government-supported afforestation schemes and grants can be implemented on real farms, providing invaluable insights into the process.
You will have the opportunity to learn about the various government initiatives available to support woodland creation, including details on financial grants, environmental incentives, and long-term benefits. During these days we will cover the practical experiences of farmers and landowners - highlighting both the advantages and challenges they’ve encountered when applying for grants, as well as incorporating woodlands on their lands.
Whether you’re considering woodland creation as a way to diversify income, enhance biodiversity, or contribute to climate change mitigation, these open days offer a wealth of practical knowledge and guidance.
