Changing Landscapes Conference 2025:
Beyond Good Intentions - Rhetoric to Impact

Ireland’s landscapes and rural communities are at a turning point, landowner disillusion, failing policies and unfit financing mechanisms stifle the radical and urgent change required. We need to move from rhetoric and good will to scalable and impactful restoration with communities at the heart of action.

When: 15th May, 2025 | 09:00 - 16:00PM
Where: Falls Hotel, Ennistymon

Join us at the 2nd Changing Landscapes conference and connect with impact innovators, progressive policymakers, focused financiers and creative community leaders driving real change across Ireland and beyond. The status quo is challenged through tough questions and pragmatic ideas. Come along, be inspired and informed, and play your role in committing to actions that can radically shift the needle on restoration across Ireland.

These thought-provoking panel topics are part of our dynamic agenda, bringing together leading voices to explore the challenges and opportunities in ecological restoration:

  • The Reality Check on Restoration – Where do we truly stand in restoring nature at scale?

  • Policy vs. Practice – Turning commitments into real-world action.

  • Who’s Making a Real Difference? – The changemakers driving tangible impact.

  • What Actually Moves the Needle? – A deep dive into the actions that create lasting change.

And more—expect in-depth discussions, fresh insights, and actionable solutions.
