Our work is to establish and conserve permanent native woodland in Ireland, encouraging land regeneration and biodiversity. What inspired you to work with Hometree?
Frank and Honest are committed to creating a more sustainable world. Having worked with Hometree initially in 2019 we saw the great work that was being done to help reverse Ireland’s declining biodiversity and the pressing climate crisis and we were excited at the chance to join forces once again. The climate crisis is something that critically impacts the coffee industry, as well as our environment overall so we take it very seriously and want to help however we can. We think that the work that Hometree carry out is important and essential, and we are proud to play our part in supporting them.

You will not see some of the trees you are planting reach maturity, what has inspired such a long term vision?
Natural restoration and regeneration is a slow process but an essential one. Knowing that the actions we take now will impact generations to come only highlights the importance of doing the right thing Sustainability is part of our core ethos at Frank and Honest, and is something that we and Hometree both believe should be focused around a long-term vision, with positive actions today making a big, positive impact in the future.
